You’re here because something familiar has ended — or is ending — and what’s ahead feels unclear, unstable, and unsettling. You don’t know which way to step, and standing still feels just as frightening as moving forward. This crossroads isn’t a sign you’ve failed; it’s evidence that God is doing something new and asking you to trust Him beyond what you can see.
Recovery often brings you to moments where old coping mechanisms are gone, but new clarity hasn’t arrived yet. This in-between space can trigger fear, doubt, and the urge to rush decisions just to escape discomfort. If you don’t learn how to stand faithfully at the crossroads, you may retreat to what’s familiar rather than step into what God is building.
Uncertainty is not an enemy to your recovery — impulsive decisions made from fear are. God uses crossroads to strengthen discernment, deepen surrender, and teach you how to follow Him without needing all the answers first.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5–6
GOD MEETS YOU IN THE IN-BETWEEN
Crossroads expose where your trust truly lives. When the path ahead is unclear, you’re tempted to rely on logic, pressure, or urgency — but God calls you to reliance, not control.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105
Notice — God promises light for the next step, not the entire journey. Recovery requires learning to obey one step at a time without demanding certainty.
Uncertainty often awakens fear, but fear is not a reliable guide.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7
At the crossroads, silence does not mean abandonment. Waiting does not mean denial. God often pauses you to protect you.
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.”
Psalm 37:23
Your responsibility is not to figure everything out — it’s to stay yielded. When you choose surrender over speed, God aligns timing, provision, and direction in ways you could never manufacture.

PRAYER
Abba Father,
I bring You my uncertainty and the fear that comes with not knowing what’s next. I surrender my need for control and my desire for quick answers. Teach me to trust You step by step and to wait without anxiety. Order my path, quiet my mind, and give me peace in this in-between place. I choose faith over fear and obedience over urgency. In Jesus name, amen.
